The 6th generation BMW M3 and BMW M4 are introduced with their ultra-powerful engine and huge grille design. Prices of cars that will meet with drivers at the end of 2020 have not yet been announced.

German automotive giant BMW has officially introduced the new BMW M3 and BMW M4 models, which will be talked about, especially with their designs. The new M3 and M4, which have much larger grilles than we are used to, have the potential to draw attention wherever they are with their sharp design lines.

The new generation M3 and M4, with standard equipment options such as LED headlights, carbon fiber roof, and 18 rear 19-inch wheels at the front, have the same 2857 millimeter wheelbase, but the M3, a sedan, is 116 millimeters longer and 10 millimeters wider. The M4 is about 17 millimeters wider than the previous generation.

The new BMW M3 and M4 feature the same Biturbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. Vehicles offer 480 horsepower and 550 Nm torque in the standard version; In Competition versions, they produce 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. For this reason, the maximum speed of 250 km / h in the standard version increases to 290 km / h in the Competition version, which accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 3.9 seconds.

In the new M3 and M4, BMW offers a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive option for drivers who want to be in full control; For those who want more comfort, the Competition version comes with xDrive and automatic transmission. According to BMW’s statement, the all-wheel-drive system will have technology similar to the new M5 and will transfer power to two or four wheels depending on the drive mode selected.

When we examine the interior design, both BMW M3 and BMW M4 offer drivers a real sports car atmosphere. Cars with a digital 12.3-inch dashboard just behind the steering wheel, on the center console, have integrated the control into the 10.3-inch infotainment screen, reducing the number of keys as much as possible.

The new BMW M3 and M4 will be able to record your drifts and show them a bird’s eye view on the mobile app.

M Drive Professional, one of the option packages offered for those who are considering buying a new M3 or M4, attracts attention with the M Drift Analyzer technology. This special technology records and reports the distance you travel and the angle you follow when you drift. Moreover, you can watch and compare the virtual repetition of the drifts through the mobile application.

Active Driving Assistant, which offers safety features such as lane tracking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, and speed limit warning, comes as default in the standard equipment package of both M3 and M4. In the Competition version, drivers are offered much more, comprehensive driving assistants.

New BMW M3 and M4 to go on sale in late 2020

According to the statements made by BMW, the new M3 and M4 will enter serial production as of November. Therefore, we can say that both vehicles will meet the drivers at the end of 2020 – regardless of the local exit dates according to the countries. The Competition version, which offers more power and comfort, will enter production in 2021.
