3D Polish Wings Test Builds 1:48 Scale 3D Printed LWS-6 Zubr “Skiegoubr” Bomber

3D Polish Wings, a Polish company specializing in 3D printed models, has announced that it has successfully test-built a 1:48 scale model of the LWS-6 “Skiegoubr” bomber. The LWS-6 was a Polish twin-engine medium bomber that was designed in the late 1930s. It was a modern aircraft for its time, featuring a streamlined design and retractable landing gear.

The 3D-printed model of the LWS-6 is a highly detailed and accurate representation of the original aircraft. It was printed using a high-resolution resin printer, and it features a number of intricate details, such as panel lines, rivets, and antennas. The model is also equipped with a full interior, including a cockpit, bomb bay, and gun turrets.

The successful test build of the 1:48 scale LWS-6 bomber is a significant achievement for 3D Polish Wings. It demonstrates the company’s ability to produce high-quality, accurate models using 3D printing technology. The model is expected to be available for purchase in the near future.

“Today we finished the prototype of the Polish LWS6 ” skiegoubr” bomber. It is included in the production program from October 25, 2023 on the scale 1:32 to 1:72 (bigger scales possible)”……….3D Polish Wings

  2. HULK! Now that’s an amazing project- cheers on realizing your dream with such a beautiful prototype. I’m not familiar with the type, and am looking forward to more information- color schemes, interior and wheel well details, etc. I just might hav to design a Polish pin-up pilot and mechanic to go with it!

This is very good news for us modellers. There is no information about the internal details of the model and the figures. Thanks to masters like you, we can have an even more detailed kit. If you want to share your work here, we will be happy to publish it.

I would like a 1/48 kit depending on cost.
