This massive two-book work tells the amazing story of the VC, WC and G-741 Dodge trucks used by the United States Military from 1940 to 1975. These two books tell the complete story of how these trucks evolved from modified civilian vehicles to some of the finest tactical vehicles in the world. Dodge tells the story of how the Dodge military vehicles were developed and deployed using thousands of photographs, many of which are from private archives and industry. Author has combed through original Chrysler documents and U.S. Military files to give the most accurate account of this massive industrial project that produced over 400,000 tactical vehicles for the U.S. Military and its Allies during WWII. U.S. Dodge devotes a full ten chapters to this aspect of the story alone.
Continuing into the second book are five additional chapters detailing the development of the post-WWII Dodge tactical trucks such as the M37 and the M601 Power Wagon. Nine more chapters round out Book Two, showing Dodge trucks being used by the U.S. Military around the world. All major WWII theaters are covered, as well as extensive coverage of the Dodge in Korea, Asia, Europe and Vietnam.
Completing the U.S. Dodge story are seven highly detailed appendices that provide data on such subjects as production, registration numbers and allocation.
Each chapter is lavishly illustrated with period photographs covering all aspects of the Dodge military truck, from development, manufacture and deployment–some chapters containing as many as one hundred eighty photos!

The second book in the set has 522 pages, and nearly 900 photos. This is another limited edition, which will sell out quickly, just like the book from 2015.
