The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is a fifth-generation jet fighter renowned for its exceptional mobility, high stealth capabilities, network operation features, and sensor fusion-enabled situational awareness. This aircraft’s development involved the simultaneous creation of three variants: the conventional take-off and landing (CTOL) F-35A for the Air Force, the short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) F-35B for the Marine Corps, and the carrier-borne (CV) F-35C for the Navy. The F-35A, adopted by several countries including the U.S. Air Force, Italian Air Force, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force, is expected to serve as a cornerstone in the air forces of Western nations.
