I Love Kit will be releasing a new 16th-scale Sherman in April.

Model1/16th scaleThe M4A1 Sherman is one of the five main production models of the famous M4 medium tank series. The M4A1 Sherman was produced to increase production of Sherman tanks. Its most notable feature is its casted upper-hull. This allowed companies that could cast large steel components to participate in the US tank program, such as locomotive manufacturers. It was built in parallel with the M4 Sherman standard and had many of the same features except for the hull. The M4A1 used the same Wright Cyclone engine with 450 horsepower, responsible for its relatively tall silhouette. It was also a powerful and reliable engine, which gave the M4A1 its good mobility. It first saw action with the British army during the second Battle of El Alamein in late 1942.
