Dim. The “Biber”, the Kriegsmarine’s most famous “pocket submarine” during World War II, was a miniature submarine that measured 18,6 cm. Biber’s development was very rapid. The development of the Biber began in February, 1944. Six months later, first units had been launched. It was only 9 meters in length, but had a 240-kilometer range. The submarine could achieve a top speed of 6 knots on the surface and 5 knots underwater. It could have two externally mounted 530mm torpedoes or two mines. The marking options in this model are shown in the decals. From 1944 until the end of World War II, the Kriegsmarine received and deployed over 300 Bibers.

The options for marking in this set

On this chassis was developed the M-40 self-propelled cannon. It was feared by the enemy because it had a 75mm Howitzer in a casemate. It was best to use M-13/40 tanks in conjunction with self-propelled cannons, as this compensated for their limited firepower. The plastic components of the kit

Char B1 bis

From italeri

No. #25766

Model1/24th Scale

The French “Char de Bataille B1” was their main battle tank during World War II. It was not until the late 1930s that the original design, which featured large, exposed tracks and many other technical innovations, became a reality. Sturdy and massive, it was improved in its “Bis” version to enhance performance and operational capability.

The marking choices in this kit

It was armed with a 47mm turret cannon and a 75mm howitzer installed in a casemate at the front of the tank. The Char B1 Bis, although a decent tank at the time, was used to back infantry divisions instead of autonomous armored units that could have offered greater flexibility in the 1940 Campaign against German Panzer Divisions.
