The Subject: The StuH 42 Ausf. The G Early Production. May-June 1942

The StuH42, SdKfz 142/2 or Sturmhaubitze42 (StuH: Sturmhaubitze, an assault howitzer), was a German self-propelled weapon used during World War II. About 1,300 StuH 42s, based on StuG III F/8 or G models, were manufactured. The StuH 42 first appeared in 1942, when a need for an antiinfantry vehicle was felt and production of StuGs were in full swing. This StuH 42 has large holes on the side of its shurtzen.
This is one of the many marking options from the boxing. The StuHs continued to fight on both the Western Front and Eastern Front until the war ended. In the end, around 1,200 were produced.

Another of the StuH’s in this kit boxing, the muzzle brake is attached here, with a cover over it to keep dirt and dust out of the gun. This kit is from Miniart. It has a cupola that says “Elch”, which means Moose, and a very dense camouflage. The box contains four different marking options. We’re not certain of some details. the kit is without interior parts, so this is an easy construction.
