New 1:35 scale Roden Opel Blitzbus Ludewig “Aero” kit
The Opel Blitzbus Ludewig “Aero” (World War II service) was a German bus built in the mid-1930s. It was built by the Ludewig Brothers’ truck body shop on the chassis of the famous Opel Blitz 3-ton truck. The bus had very elegant exterior lines and was used as an express bus for intercity travelers.
It was also used for propaganda purposes. After the start of the Second World War, such a vehicle was confiscated by the army and used as transport for Wehrmacht officers on the Eastern Front.
