Kotare released an update on their 1:32 Spitfire Mk.Vb production.
The tooling for the Mk.Vb additional parts is going well. We are encouraged by the sample test shots we’ve received. Shipping is still scheduled for the second quarter of 2025. You can order this now from our

K32006 – Kotare 1/32 Spitfire mk.Vb Early. website-141 high quality injection moulded parts, including wings with optional 20mm cannons and magazine fairings. Also included are ailerons and engine cowlings. Included are a windscreen with de-icing system, hood with Martin-Baker Jettison System, fireproof bulkhead with curved and rectangular blind flying panels with elevator trimming wheel. Also included is a composite pilot’s chair with electrical connection door, IFF Mk.II port wing fillets, and a composite pilot with IFF Mk.II. Optional Supermarine & CBAF undercarriage doors and engine top cowlings, open & closed cockpit doors, crowbar, DeHavilland & Rotol propellers, and wheels with weighted tyres featuring correct alignment.

High quality Cartograf decals for 3 RAF, Polish and USAAF early production Spitfire Mk.Vb colour schemes. Interestingly, one of the Polish pilots was born in Lviv, now in modern-day Ukraine.
