There will be around 40boxes available. This should suffice as I do not expect to be in a rush for this set. This set only contains 2 cages. Production is simple and shouldn’t be too delayed in any other situation. To sum up, I had a very low level of interest in the set, and due to its small numbers produced, was reluctant to begin working on it. As I began to research and write about the technical details, my interest quickly grew. The squadron history and its achievements made me fall in love with the Spitfire. Speaking of the set, I think I am not alone.

During and after previous set design and production, a lot of lessons were learned. This one has a number of improvements. There is abundant use of custom supports that prevent parts warping or deforming during the printing process, and also facilitate the removal.

There is an extensive chapter in the instructions for the best approach on removing the said supports. The instructions can be downloaded for free from the product pages.

A lot of work has gone into getting the fuselage to nose joints to fit and adjust as well as possible. No cuts are required for the nose fixation, and putty application should be minimal, or even non-existent.

The only base kit surgery is around the underwing panel, and involve a single straight cut along a panel line. The next 1/32 Spit variant to be released is Seafire XV/XVII. 2 sets that are developed concurrently, can’t say yet wich one first”…………………………….Laminar Flow

Ps: For the braves involved in a MkV conversion, based on the Tamiya kit, or any other kind of work requiring it, the underwing panel with the circular oil cooler could be obtained separately. Just get in touch”…………………………………Mathieu
