For best results, we recommend that you apply a Polyurethane Primer (62.601) as a basecoat on some surfaces. Premium colors are extremely durable, flexible and allow prolonged exposure to the weather without losing their brilliance. Premium colors are formulated using micronized permanent pigments, a hybrid resin-polyurethane exterior grade base that is resistant to cracking and chipping, direct exposure to heat, outdoor elements, and fuel residue up to 35% Nitro. The colors can be airbrushed directly from the bottles when using a 0,3mm nozzle. The metallic colors may require some dilution, while for smaller nozzles (0.2mm and less), the Reducer (62.068), which is available in the range, will be needed. The recommended compressor settings are 30-60psi (2-4 bar).The Candy Colors range includes 20 opaque bright colors, 23 metallics and fluorescents that sparkle, and nine shimmering transparent Candy Colors. The range includes 8 auxiliary products, including the Transparent Basecoat, Primers, Varnishes, and Drying Retarder. All colors can be used for both detail work and large-scale surfaces. For a automotive refinishing and as an extra protective final coating, we recommend a catalyzed urethane clear varnish (spray can or airbrush).
