HK Models Boxart. Nicknamed “Rose of York”, the B-17G Flying Fortress (B-17G-55-BO) was captured by Queen Elizabeth II on July 6, 1944. It shows Elizabeth (then Princess Elizabeth Windsor) waiting for her royal visit. That day, Princess Elizabeth baptized B-17. . The “Rose of York” B-17 was shot down on February 3, 1945. The 10 people on board (including the BBC News reporter) were never found.

It is said that the kit will be produced in 1/48 and 1/32 scales.
