Braille Scale of M142 HIMARS

Meng introduces their new kit at 1/72th scale.
The U.S. Military developed the M142 HIMARS, a lightweight system based on M270 MLRS. This was done to create a force combining mobility with powerful firepower.

The M142 HIMARS is equipped with a six-pack rocket launcher. The standard missiles can travel up to 45 kilometers, while the ATACMS system (Army Tactical Missile System), which is equipped with six rockets per pack, has a maximum range of over 300 kilometers. Its lightweight design reduces its combat weight from 10.9 ton and allows it to reach speeds of up 86 km/h. It can also be transported by C-130 aircraft and quickly deployed once it reaches the battle zone. This combines mobility with power. The M142 HIMARS was used to provide fire support during the Iraq War of 2005. It carried out precise and rapid strikes against targets. The Ukrainian military repeatedly used the M142 HIMARS to conduct long-range precision attacks on Russian targets in the Russia-Ukraine Conflict of 2022. Its high mobility and difficulty to defend against have made it one of the most troublesome weapons for the Russian military.

This MENG 1/72 72-004 U.S. M142 HIMARS High Mobility Artillery Rocket System model is about 109mm long, 41mm wide and 41mm high after assembly. It is easy to assemble and has a modular design. It includes fine decals.
