Airfix will release a new edition of its 1:48-scale De Havilland Chipmunk in the Autumn with three different marking options
Airfix released its first DH Chipmunk in 2021 [Scalemates]. The three new marking options include:
- Scheme A – de Havilland Chipmunk T.20, Irish Air Corps aircraft 168, Irish Historic Flight.
- Scheme B – de Havilland Chipmunk T.20 1304, Portuguese Air Force, Escola Militar Aeronautica, Granja do Marques, 1951
- Scheme C – de Havilland Chipmunk T.10 WP903, HRH Prince Charles’ Chipmunk, The Queen’s Flight, 1968.
