The Subject:

The Sd.Kfz. 250/1 Ausf. The Special Purpose vehicle 250/1 version A was used by the German Wehrmacht in World War II. The Sd.Kfz. The Ausf. The version with sloped armor plates offers additional protection from enemy fire. The vehicle could transport two crewmen and as many as four infantrymen. It was powered by a Maybach TRKM HL42 engine and could reach speeds of 60 km/h. The Sd.Kfz. 250/1 was a valuable asset to German forces, especially in armoured reconnaissance and mechanised infantry divisions. 250/1 a valuable asset to German forces, particularly in armoured reconnaissance and mechanised infantry divisions.

The Kit

Designed in coordination with Takom, this is a good sign – this kit seems to use a very similar set of features as Takom’s 35th scale version. This kit features a full interior but no engine, but with:

A driver figure, designed to fit this kit specifically, is included.

Marking Options

There are four options included in this boxing, with mostly panzer grey versions, but one tan and green type from Greece in 1943. The decal sheet includes decals for interior and exterior, including the dials and controls for the driver’s station.
