In the modern world, electronic warfare is as vital as conventional firepower. Boeing EA-18G Growler is designed for this purpose. The aircraft can be used for a variety of theater electronic warfare missions, including electromagnetic countermeasures and electronic interception. The U.S. Navy’s VAQ-138, “Yellow Jackets”, Electronic Attack Squadron began in February 1976. It was initially equipped with EA-6B Prowler aircraft for electronic warfare and based aboard the USS Saratoga. In late 2009 or early 2010, the squadron started transitioning from EA-6B Prowler to EA-18G Growler, an electronic attack aircraft. The squadron has been stationed overseas on numerous occasions since then, carrying out various missions. This latest MENG LS-019 1/48 Boeing EA-18G Growler Electronic Attack Aircraft Yellow Jackets model is 378mm long and 285mm wide after assembly.
