The LAV-300 was an attempt by Cadillac Gage Textron to improve upon the aging LAV-150 and to provide something heavier that could carry more men or firepower. A dozen different variants of the LAV-300 were available. The FSV is armed with the 90mm Cockerill Mk.III L/36, which is the same gun as that used by the LAV 150 90. This gun was mounted in a turret with two men. It was able, thanks to the wide variety of shells available (APFSDS HE and HEP), to take on older Soviet tanks. This is what potential customers are most likely to be interested in. The colour scheme of this kit

The Type 59 tank is a copy of the Soviet T-54. The Chinese Type 59 tanks were initially a copy of their Soviet counterparts. However, they have been modernized over time. First, the Type 59 I version was modernized with night vision, laser rangefinders, and better observation equipment. The Type 59-II was also modernized, and it had a 105 mm cannon with a stabilization system, autoloader, as well as a nice stabilization. A new power unit with a 590 horsepower engine was installed. The Type 59 tank was exported to several countries including Cambodia, Congo, and Tanzania due to its ease of operation, affordability, and decent firepower. The tanks were also involved in the Sino-Vietnam War of 1979. Tanks of this type are believed to have been withdrawn from the Chinese army line, but are still held in reserve.
