The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) is a guided missile destroyer commissioned by the United States Navy. This is a warship of the Arleigh Burke class, the 25th destroyer in its class, and the 14th built at Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine. The construction of the vessel began on July 9, 1996. It was launched and christened in May 1997. After a period in commissioning, USS Donald Cook officially entered service at Penn’s Landing Pier, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 4,98. The Navy confirmed its arrival in mid-February 2014, after the announcement.
