Opel started production in Russelsheim in early 1930s of early trucks based on an “American” layout. It was an evolution of success that continued up until the mid-1970s. Joseph Stalin JS-2 was one of the most important tanks designed to combat the heavily armored German vehicles such as Tiger and Panther.
