The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was undoubtedly one of the most original aircraft in terms of design and aerodynamic layout during World War II. The P-38 was an innovative heavy fighter with a unique twin-boom design. Its two Allison V-1710 engines, each producing 1,425 hp, were housed within the booms. Meanwhile the cockpit located at the front of the plane had the pilot sitting in the middle. The decals included in the kit.

ModelIt is armed with 4 12.7mm Browning Machine Guns and a Hispano M2 Cannon. It was not as maneuverable as single-engine fighters at the time but it was very robust and stable. Its long range made it especially effective for long-range bombers in Europe and the Pacific. The M113 can be considered one of the most famous APCs (armoured personnel carriers) in history. The M113 was designed in the 1950s to transport a well-protected infantry squad close to the battle zone.
