Arma Hobby has begun taking orders for its next Bell P-39 in 1:48 scale, which is a photo reconnaissance Airacobra.
Recon Airacobra’s 1/48 – Preorders Started!
Colourful decals and a resin 3D print – a camera lens – will allow you to build one of three unique and very interesting US Aviation Reconnaissance Airacobra’s.
Markings of choice:
- Olive Drab P-39Q-6 ‘Reba – Brown Eyes’ from 82nd TRS with white tail operating over New Guinea in the Pacific
- Silver P-39Q-6 of the 4th TRS with pin-up girl, searching for German U-Boats over the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic
- Olive Drab P-39N-2 ‘Alan S’ with a broad white band on the tail, a training machine (US East Coast) of the legendary 118th TRS, later famous for fighting over China on Mustangs decorated with black and yellow lightnings
