Red Pill Models to Release 1/32 F-4B Phantom II
A new company called Red Pill has announced that it will be releasing a new 1/32 scale styrene model of the F-4B Phantom II. The model will be made from new tooling and will feature a high level of detail.
The F-4B Phantom II was a twin-engine, fighter aircraft that was used by the United States Navy and Marine Corps from the early 1960s to the early 1990s. It was one of the most successful fighters of its era and saw service in a variety of conflicts, including the Vietnam War.
The Red Pill F-4B Phantom II will be the first new 1/32 scale model of the aircraft to be released in many years. The model will be a welcome addition to the collections of modelers who are fans of the F-4 Phantom II.
The model is expected to be released in early 2024. It will be available in a variety of different versions, including a U.S. Navy and a U.S. Marine Corps version.
Here are some of the features of the Red Pill F-4B Phantom II:
- New tooling
- High level of detail
- Accurately scaled
- A variety of different versions are available
I will definitely be buying this one!
Wonderfull
Definitely…
Being a former Navy F-4 RIO who flew in the B during VN in 72-73 off Midway. I’d be curious to see the detail that’s mentioned. I’d be interested in buying one.
Wooovvvvv it’s good to see an experienced F-4 pilot like you here. We’ll publish the news very soon. You’ll learn it here first.
Perfeito
It’d be great if the rear fuselage could be made available to correct the atrocious back ends of the Tamiya 1/32 E’s and J lits.
I’d suggest making the front and rear canopy hoods and frames as single piece mouldings to avoid the tricky glue jount with the clear parts, with the inner insert frame separate as you’ve done.
