Sabre Kits 1:48 scale model kit of the Avia B.135
Sabre Kits has announced plans to release a 1:48 scale model kit of the Avia B.135. The kit will utilize the wings of the AZ Models B.135 kit, with new parts for the rest of the aircraft.
The Avia B.135 was a Czechoslovakian-built fighter-bomber that served with the Czechoslovakian Air Force during World War II. The aircraft was based on the Avia B.35 biplane fighter, and was powered by a German Argus As 410 engine. The B.135 was armed with two 20mm cannons and four 7.92mm machine guns.
The Sabre B.135 kit will be the first injection-molded kit of the aircraft in 1:48 scale. The kit will feature a high level of detail, with engraved panel lines and recessed rivet detail. The kit will also include a photo-etched fret for additional detail.
The Sabre B.135 kit is expected to be released in 2024.
