Selous Scouts 2

The second kit in the BRAVO*6 under Sanctions Series depicts Selous Scouts of the Rhodesian Bush War.
The Rhodesian Bush War was fought from 1964-1979 and resulted in the end of minority rule and universal suffrage. It also led to the establishment of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The Selous Scouts were a Rhodesian Army special force that fought from 1973 to the time of Zimbabwe’s reconstitution. The first kit

was released two years ago. Vladimir Demcehnko then sculpted a second kit in the same series 35207 Selous Scouts (2)

, inspired by real-time war photos. The kit includes two standing figures in irregular clothes, with field gear and guns. The bodies, small pieces and accessories are placed in zip-lock baggies and then bundled together. The figures have a very good sculpting quality and are cast with crisp and clean details. Just a little sanding before priming is enough. Parts are easily removed from the casting block, however fragile components like barrels will need special care.
