Special Hobby has released an updated 1:72 scale kit for the SIAI-Marchetti SF-260.
The SF-260 Italian sports, aerobatic and trainer aircraft is used almost everywhere in the world. It is used by the Italian and Belgian military in Europe. In the past, the Irish Air Corps also flew it. The airframes are constantly being improved and modernized, so the new machines look quite different from their predecessors. It is the newer, larger style sliding canopy hood with a different frame that makes the biggest difference. All of this can be attributed to the increasing heights of student pilots gaining their wings on the SF-260. The quality of our model is superior to that offered by the competing releases. The decals cater for an Italian airframe with intriguing nose arts, a Belgian machine plus two more machines that flew or still keep flying in Latin America, a aluminium painted machine from Venezuela and a white with orange trim machine aircraft flying in Uruguay.
