In the world of military aviation, the Apache is known for being a fearsome attack helicopter. Equipped with deadly weapons like the Hellfire missiles and 30mm chain gun, the Apache is capable of inflicting severe damage on enemy targets. Today, we look at how these weapons will be represented in the upcoming Apache CAD model, thanks to some leaked images.
It is armed with a 30 mm M230 Chain Gun carried between the main landing gear, and under the aircraft’s forward fuselage. It has four hardpoints mounted on stub-wing pylons, using AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods.
