The 2S35-1 Koalitsiya-SV KSh uses the 152mm ammunition unmanned turret of the 2S35 Koalisiya-SV self-propelled howitzer. It is based on a modified KamAZ-6560 military truck with an 8×8 configuration.
This artillery system can be seen as a cheaper and more mobile alternative to the tracked version. Although it loses to the tracked version off-road mobility and armor protection.
This truck-mounted howitzer is planned to be used by troops with wheeled combat vehicles, and the tracked version by troops with tracked combat vehicles.

At first, the number of helicopters powered by TV3-117 engines was less than the number of previous versions with TV2-117s, but hostilities in Afghanistan prompted the Soviet military to reconsider their policy of ordering, and in the mid-1980s the Mi -8MT and its derivatives became the main product of the factory. Until 2001, the Kazan plant produced more than 3,000 helicopters powered by the TV3-117MT and TV3-117VM engines.

In 1981, the Mi-8MT made its international debut at the 34th Paris Air Show. For advertising and marketing reasons, the export version was given a new name, Mi-17. It has six external fixed points. Mi-17 is equipped with missiles, bombs, small arms, and artillery.
