The Grumman F-14 Tomcat, a two-seat supersonic fighter with twin engines and variable sweep wings, is manufactured by Grumman. The Tomcat was designed for the United States Navy’s Naval Fighter Experimental program (VFX), following the failure of the F-111B. The F-14 is the first American fighter of the teen series.
