U.S. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Control Center is responsible for identifying and disposing of unexploded ordnances, chemical weapons and IEDs. Foster-Miller Inc. in the United States designed and manufactured the TALON robot, while iRobot Corporation of America built and developed its 510 PackBot robot. These robots assist soldiers with dangerous tasks such as reconnaissance and the disposal of roadside IEDs and bombs.
