Metal Color is a range of metallic water-based colors that are specially designed for airbrushing. Metal color can be applied directly to models without the need for a primer. However, it is recommended that you use a glossy black Primer on fuselages and components of airplane models in order to bring out the unique and special quality of the aluminum finish. Metal Colors are a collection of water-based metallic colors that faithfully replicate different metallic finishes, such as the radial and linear engines, nozzles, and paneling on aircraft from all eras and types, including WWI aircraft with wood, metal, and textile coatings, to modern fighters jets. Metal Color is a range of metallic colors that can be used to mimic the metallic finish on aircraft from all eras and types. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers
Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks, as it respects the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. It can also be applied with a brush. You can also apply it with a brush.
Metal Colors can be mixed together, used directly with an Airbrush, or diluted using Airbrush Thinner B002X6DTHK or Flow Improver B00QD780G0. For these colors, the recommended compressor adjustment is 15-20 PSI or between 0.5 and 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using our Airbrush Cleaner (B002X6BNYQ)
