Copper State Models [CSM] released another WWI scale pilot figure in 1:32 size, this time it is Russian-born fighter Ace Alexander Kozakov
Another 1/32 figure featuring Imperial Russia’s most-accomplished ace Alexander Kozakov. Kozakov, who began his aviation career in 1913 and flew bombing, reconnaissance, and assault missions in the early 1900s, achieved his first win in 1915 when he rammed an enemy aircraft. He scored 20 victories as the commander of 1st Combat Air Group before his resignation in 1918. He led the Slavo British Air Detachment at Murmansk after joining British forces. Kozakov tragically lost his life in 1919 while performing a manoeuvre at low altitude. Alexander Kozakov flew on Morane-Saulnier, Spad – SA2, Nieuport 11 and Nieuport 17.
