SS-Oscha. Johann Terdenge 05/36
This figure is the fifth in the 12th SS 6 Kompanie series. The figure was inspired by archive photos. This soldier is wearing Italian army gloves that were purchased by the 1st SS from Italian shops in 1943 and worn frequently by 1st SS soldiers on the Eastern Front between 1943-1944. He wears the Kriegsmarine leather top, bottom and leather winter cap. During the Battle of Kharkov, in winter 1943, tankers from the 3rd SS Panzer Division wore this type of hat. The figure comes with two interchangeable head options: One with the ears flaps removed and one with them attached. He wears 7×10 Binoculars around his neck as an identifying feature. It is notable that the leather Kriegsmarine uniform, which was worn by many SS Panzers near the war’s end, can be used without modifications for the majority of SS Panzers. It is also suitable for use with the 1SS of the Eastern Front in the winter of 1943/44 or in the Battle of Ardenne in December 1944.
