April 23, 1949, was the founding day of the Chinese PLAN (People’s Liberation Army Navy) and today is the 75th anniversary of PLAN founding.
Type 054B Frigate is the newest frigate of PLAN and already launched and tested in 2023. It is a development of the Type 054A frigate, and is around 50% larger than its predecessor(Displacement around 6,000 tons). The kit is numbered

and follows a layout similar to their 1/350 Type 055 Destroyer. It is also an easy build, with parts that are already colored. This may be appealing to some modelers. Others will paint the kit anyway. This kit is painted in (more or less the same) colours as the actual plastic when you receive it. Some people don’t care for this but it could be a good way to introduce a young modeller or one who is short on time. If you don’t want to use pre-coloured pieces, simply paint them. You can glue the parts together if that is what you prefer, but Magic Factory has designed it so you don’t have to.
