Review of Master Model barrels used in 1/35 Tiger I kits
Master models, a Polish firm, is known for its high-quality gun barrels, probes, and antennas. They are used in both aviation and armored vehicles. The majority of the catalogue is for small calibre guns, but this year, they added some larger guns to the range, such as the M10 gun or those in the current revision for the Tiger I Kw. K 36 gun. They offer the gun in two versions, one with an early muzzle break and the other with a late muzzle break. Only the muzzlebra is different. The barrels are identical. Set includes a turned aluminum barrel, brass ring, and 3D-printed muzzle brake. The resin muzzle is packaged separately to prevent damage. The parts are clean and ready for use. The muzzle brake is 3D Printed and has no print bands, support leftovers or imperfections. Both the barrel ring and muzzle brake are very detailed, showing screw marks. The barrel is also completely smooth, with two small marks showing how deep it should be inserted into the gun’s sleeve. This information can be found on the included instruction sheet. The instruction sheet also indicates the proper position for the muzzle break, and warns that a slight gap is to be expected between the barrel’s jacket. The picture is of an actual barrel.
The fit of both the brass ring and the muzzle brake to the tube are correct with no problem although you will need glue to hold it in place.
Measured against the drawings on Achtung Panzer no 6, they are a perfect match.

The conclusion of the article is:
A straightforward replacement for Tiger I plastic barrels. There are no pieces to fold, cut or clean. The size, shape and detail are perfect. It cannot be simpler.
