Special Hobby has released the P-40N, extending their popular range of Curtiss Warhawks in 1:72 scale and Kittyhawks.
The P-40, a US-built aircraft that was supplied to allies as the Kittyhawk is regarded by many as one of war’s most iconic planes. In US colors, the P-40N is considered to be the last production version. It was mainly used over China and India as well as Pacific battlefields. The machines were assigned to different units and wore various markings that referred to their squadron. Some of the Pacific island-based machines were also painted sand which was better suited to the place of deployment.
