This series of photos, taken from Soviet-occupied Europe in late WWII/1945. Many of these men are reminiscent of the Soviet soldier, wearing

ushanka fur hats, thick woollen coats, and leather boots. They are either seen with other soldiers in their unit or leading refugees back to safety after the war. We would have liked to see the dog there. He is wearing the same gear as this figure, with a good view of the rear. This man looks surprisingly like the figure. This figure is wearing the exact same clothing as the man in the picture. A view shows several Soviet soldiers wearing the very same clothes as the person shown. figure has been cast from light gray resin and comes unassembled. The sculpt is by Alexander Zelenkov. Below, he is shown unpainted and assembled. The uniform is shown below, unpainted and assembled. His bread bag strap and PPsH are also folding and pulling his heavy coat. The painted version is also Alexander Zelenkov. You can also see him smoking one of those fat russian cigarettes (that smelled like death, I always say).
