The set enables the modeller to build an early F-104A (or even YF-104) with downward firing C-1 ejection seat and all other necessary detail changes.

The canopy internal de-mister tubing is quite different from the latter variants and required making a new canopy centre part (machine cast resin).

Then there are fuselage parts such as a lower forward insert with different vents and shell ejector port, fuselage side stiffener plates and an engine bay vent panel.
