In the spring of 1937, based on the experience of the Spanish Civil War, the German Technical Department developed requirements for an attack aircraft. To support troops directly on the battlefield, as well as to penetrate deeply entrenched enemy defenses, it was essential that a small twin-engined aircraft had reliable armor protection and powerful weapons. Focke-Wulf was one of four companies that were evaluated on the basis of competition. In the course of the competition, Focke-Wulf specialists converted its Fw 189V-1 equipped with two Argus AS 410 engines to a two seat attack aircraft. The main part of the conversion involved replacing the central gondola with an armored cabin housing the pilot and gunner.

Several variants were produced, and the third aircraft in the experimental series, the Fw 189V-6, became the Fw 189C attack aircraft. The Fw 189C was fitted with stronger engines and armed with 4 MG17 and 2 MG-FF cannons of 20mm. Its defensive armament consisted MG81 machine gun. It was tested in Rechlin, Germany, in fall 1940. Despite good results, the aircraft did not enter production. The primary attack aircraft of the Luftwaffe a bit later became the single-engine Hs 129A.

For cooking in combat conditions, the Wehrmacht used various types of field kitchens: large ones for personnel ranging from 125 to 225 men, and smaller kitchens for 60-125 men. The Wehrmacht also made use of captured field kitchens. The kitchens could be transported by horse drawn carriage or trailers behind vehicles. These kitchens, called by soldiers jokingly the “Gulaschkanone”, allowed them to cook a wide variety of meals. A large pot with a glycerin-based insulating coating was used to cook main dishes. In later models, a separate frying kettle was included. These kitchens were also capable of preparing up to 90 litres of coffee at once. The food rations for Wehrmacht troops included many different products. German soldiers were given sausage, dairy, cocoa, and cheese. Qualified cooks handled food preparation, assisted by helpers who peeled and chopped vegetables, chopped firewood, fetched water, and performed other tasks

the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the outset. In the summer of 2022 and the autumn,

the main focus was on the Eastern operating zone. This became a theatre of intense military action. Along with maneuver warfare, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used assault tactics to dislodge

the

enemy from fortified and strong points. The most difficult aspect of modern war is the assault on civilian areas. This large kit includes kit no. 35755 “War has a gender” & kit #35752 “Quietly Came, Quietly Went …” as well as two crew members for the Kozak-2. In addition to specially trained fighters and armored vehicle, many other forces were used, including FPV drones.
