The Taser Launch Set from Estes is an exciting, radically designed, high altitude rocket launch set from the E2X (Easy to Assemble) series. The rocket kit includes a one-piece body tube with bright colors, molded plastic fins and a bullet shaped nose cone. The Taser rocket measures 16.5 inches high. In less than an hour, you can be ready to launch the rocket by simply gluing together a few pieces of the rocket and applying the colorful decals. This rocket is returned to its launch site by a brightly colored 12 inch parachute. The rocket also includes an Estes Launch Pad and Launch Controller for ease of use when launching your rockets (four AA alkaline batteries are required, sold separately). Mission ControlModelThe Taser requires Estes engines for the launch (not included). For the first flight, use the A8-3 motor. Use Estes engines B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, C6-5 or C6-7 for subsequent flights. All models must be assembled unless otherwise stated. Separately sold are tools, finishing and construction supplies. Launching requires a launcher, four AA alkaline batteries, igniters, recovery waffling, and a model rocket engine. Before starting, make sure you read all the instructions. Ensure you have all the parts and materials required. Before applying glue, make sure that all parts are a perfect fit. Sanding is required for precise assembly. The product color and shape can vary. Stand back from the launch controller cord as much as possible (15 feet) when launching. Indoor rocketry is not recommended. Select a large (500-foot) field that is free of brown grass and dry weeds.
