Merkava Mk3 BAZ is one of the most powerful main battle tank IDF has developed. 3. The vehicle is very mobile, thanks to the powerful engine of 1200hp installed at the front. Weapon system includes a smoothbore 120mm gun and three machine guns. A new gunner’s sight as well as an additional panoramic commander’s sight is also equipped. The heavily armored deck of the engine provides a stronger frontal protection. The tank can be fitted with Nochri Dalet’s mine roller system to help clear mines from the battlefield.
