The products can be shaped to create waterfalls, waves, ripples and ice and can be mixed with one another, or with the colors of Model Color, Game Color or Model Air. They are applied with a brush, a painting knife, sponge or any other tool. Drying time depends on the thickness of the applied product and the humidity of the atmosphere, and can vary from 45 minutes to hours or even days.Water TextureIs a dense gel, perfect for shallow water on coloured grounds, and especially apt for rivulets and white water. Water Effects is available in a transparent gel and in 3 colors formulated with permanent pigments. Further variations in tonality can be achieved by blending the products with low viscosity colors like Model Air or with the Game Color Inks.The final effect also depends on the color of the ground.Colours can be mixed with water,Model Air Thinner or Varnish, according to the effect desired, but we recommend the use of Model Air Thinner since this product conserves the properties of the colours. Model Air adheres excepcionally well to all surfaces. The adhesion of Model Air to resin models, plastic, steel and white metal is extraordinary.Once protected with varnish, (Gloss,Matte or Satin) Model Air can be overpainted with solvent based enamels or oilcolours: they withstand cleaning with turprntine and even a light wash with alcohol. The resistance to abrasion of the colours, once varnished is superior to any other waterbased acrylic.

The versatility of Wash FX allows its use as a spot wash, to recreate shadow and dirt effects around details such as rivets or panel lines. It can be used as a filter, applied evenly over a part of the model, to vary the background shade. Recommended for very dark colors and small details in the joints and rivets of the model
Wash FX dries very fast and allows the painting or weathering process to continue about 20 minutes after application. It can be used with brush or airbrush
You can also work these effects with water, but the best results will be obtained by working with our thinner range, for blending effects, removing brush marks, increase capillarity or blurring strokes, without damaging the base layers of color or previous color base coats or previous effects, after a complete drying process of 24 hours

Metal color is a new range of water-based metallic colors, especially designed for airbrushing. In the development of these new and innovative metallic colors,  the latest generation of aluminum pigments has been used in a specifically designed formula which results in a series of colors of exceptional resistance and adherence to plastics and metal. TEXTURE ACRYLIC: BROWN EARTH - Includes: (1) 200ml (6.76oz) texture acrylic pot. The stone textures range is a selection of acrylic, waterbased textures from Acrylicos Vallejo. They can be mixed with one another, with acrylic colors (Modelcolor, Game Color and Model Air) and other diorama materials. All products are non toxic and dry to a resistant and permanent finish. Drying time depends on the thickness of the applied product and the humidity of the atmosphere, and can vary from 45 minutes to hours or even days. Textures of earth and sand formulated with permanent pigments, microparticles and acrylic resin. This slightly gritty base can be applied with a brush or, painting knife and is perfect for all surfaces and terrains of dioramas. In order to guarantee an excellent adherence it is necessary to apply it on a previously ‘degreased’ surface, therefore it is advisable to wash the model or the figure before priming it in order to remove the remains of release agents.
Vallejo Primers is a range of acrylic primers specially formulated for airbrushing. Recommended compressor settings for our colours are around 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg.
The primers are applied in successive coats and dry quickly, forming a homogeneous film of extraordinary hardness and resistance within a few hours after application. They can be used directly or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner (B002X6DTHK) or Flow Improver (B00QD780G0).
