The formula is a new acrylic resin that has properties previously not possible in a water-based acrylic. The air is superior in terms of its resistance, hardness, and covering power to other acrylics for airbrushing. Pigments used for airbrush colors must be ground down to the smallest possible consistency to prevent obstruction of airbrush valves. The Model Air formula uses a revolutionary milling technique to produce the finest texture and technical assurance for the modelpainter when applying colours. This also produces superior quality when using a brush when applying colours for small details, washes, transparencies, or layered glazings. The colours can be mixed according to desired effect with Varnish or Model air Thinner, but we recommend using Model air Thinner as it preserves the colour properties. Model air adheres exceptionally well to any surface. Once varnished, Model air can be used to paint with oilcolours or solvent-based enamels. They are resistant to cleaning with Turprntine or alcohol.
